CLIC Sargent is Looking for Volunteers

CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. Our care teams have been providing specialist support across the UK for years. We know that for young lives, when the doctor says cancer, normal life stops. Cancer affects every part of life – relationships, confidence, money, school, work.  CLIC Sargent care teams will fight tirelessly to limit the damage cancer causes. They will listen, and ask the right questions, so that they can provide the right support, tailored to each young person and family. We do this individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things, like getting well. And if the worst happens, we will work with bereaved families to get them support, to help them cope with their emotional pain.

CLIC Sargent will also fight for young lives with cancer by taking what they tell us about the impact of cancer on their lives to the government, service providers and policy makers to improve things and make real change happen.

CLIC Sargent is looking to recruit some volunteers locally to help with their fundraising:

Community Volunteer

Fundraising Research Volunteer

Volunteer Collection Tin Coordinator

If you have some time to spare and are willing and able to get involved, please contact VANL on Tel: 01236 748011 / info@vanl.co.uk

Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Today, 11 more children and young people will hear the devastating news that they have cancer. From diagnosis, CLIC Sargent’s specialist care teams will step in, ready to help, support and guide. They will provide a specialist package of support tailored to each young cancer patient and family.
