Help tackle the climate emergency!

ACT Now North Lanarkshire

Residents and voluntary groups in North Lanarkshire are being encouraged to play their part in tackling the ongoing climate emergency.

A special launch event – Partnership Action on Climate Change will give people the opportunity to find out what they can do to reach the net zero target and how they can work towards a cleaner, greener North Lanarkshire.

The virtual session is taking place on Wednesday 29 September and will see the launch of the North Lanarkshire Partnership Action on Climate Together (ACT Now NL).

Information will be provided on how to tackle the climate emergency, the forthcoming global Conference of Parties 26 (COP26) event in Glasgow and what action is currently underway to reduce carbon emissions in North Lanarkshire.

The evening session will discuss community climate change priorities and how we can develop community action groups.
